This weekend is 'Sleep under the Stars' night, and if you do you might well see the Perseids, the annual August meteor shower! We're also delighted to announce the winners of our Photography Competition and we've had over 600 stunning entries!

You can also watch timelapse footage of our High Borrowdale hay meadow being cut, and sign up to take part in an archaeological dig in September at Little Asby Common, near Orton in the Westmorland Dales. Listen to the webinar about the project, in which Jamie Quartermaine, of Oxford Archaeology talks about the work they've been doing and the community excavations to begin next month.
