Friends of the Lake District Bay Walk

Hollie Ward

As someone who is always looking for a way to push myself out of my comfort zone and try something new, this walk has been on my list for a while.
And why not take part in a personal challenge as well as doing something good for charity and the environment as well?

The roughly 7.5 mile walk over uneven terrain for 3 to 4 hours. The majority of the walk will be over sand, however at times wading through channels of water, which can be knee or even thigh-high depending on rainfall.
