Friends of the Lake District were established 90 years ago - initially to campaign for the Lake District National Park - but the work they do is just as vital today as it was then. They work tirelessly to help conserve and enhance this special place. Working in partnership to ensure that this landscape can thrive for generations to come. Their work is truly holistic - looking at all elements that impact the landscape we love including:
- water
- biodiversity & climate
- visits, access & tourism
- planning & development and,
- nature friendly farming & community
Join with us in supporting them and their work... Helen Howe
