The Westmorland Dales Landscape Partnership Scheme aims to unlock and reveal the hidden heritage of the Westmorland Dales, enabling more people to connect with, enjoy and benefit from this inspirational landscape. Thanks to National Lottery players it has been supported by a grant from the Heritage Fund.
You will be aware that we have cancelled or postponed all of our planned events and activities until we know it is safe to proceed. We have also taken other steps to reduce the risks to our staff, volunteers and everyone we work with. So our office is now closed and staff will be working from home.

The Westmorland Dales Landscape Partnership Scheme, which has been funded by a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, aims to engage people in revealing, conserving, enjoying and sustaining the hidden heritage of the Westmorland Dales. One of the ways we will be doing this is by running a small grants scheme, Love Your Landscape, for local communities and organisations to deliver their own projects which help meet these aims. It will run from 2020- 2022.
In light of the corona virus restrictions any applications to Love Your Landscape will be assessed in a more flexible manner. Please don’t let the CV19 restrictions put you off enquiring or making an application. If you are interested and would like to talk through your ideas please contact David Evans at [email protected].
We will email you in the week following your grant submission to confirm its receipt. If you do not receive a confirmation email from us then please contact [email protected] to ensure that we are in receipt of your application.
