Open Day and AGM 2022 Open Day and AGM 2022 We were blessed with a glorious sunny day for our 2022 Open Day and AGM held in Ulverston in July. For those joining us for morning walks and activities, it provided far reaching views for those walking up the Hoad to look at the potential National Park Extension area, whilst our new woodland in Rusland offered pleasant shade for those who went on a visit to our land. It was great to be able to hold this as an in-person event once again, where we got to see familiar (and new) faces to our annual member gathering. Fifty people attended with a further 12 joining us via Zoom for the speakers and AGM after lunch. Debbie North inspired us all with her talk on increasing access in the outdoors and Douglas Chalmers shared the achievements of 2021 and the AGM voted to adopt the 2021 Annual Report and Accounts. Three new trustees were elected, having previously been co-opted Trustees: Laura Doan, Robin Forrest and Tony Vaux; and two trustees were re-elected for a second term – Lucy Hetherington and Dave Felton. Our Vice-President, John Campbell, kindly offered to be re-elected, and we said a big thank you and very fond farewell to our Chief Executive Douglas Chalmers. Draft minutes of the AGM, and the 2021 Annual Report and Accounts. We will provide a link here when they become available. Copies of the 2021 Annual Report and Accounts can be viewed and downloaded here> For further information about the day, or the work of the Executive, please get in touch with Clare Hucknall ([email protected]) or via the office on 01539 720788.
