Tuesday 30th April 2024: High Borrowdale Tree Maintenance and Walling

Join our workparty for tree maintenance and walling work at High Borrowdale. 

• Location: High Borrowdale: Meeting at 9:30 at the layby at Hucks Brow (GR553030)  Limited parking 
• Time: 9:30am – 4pm
• Activity suitability: 16+
• Activity grade: Moderate. There is a 30 minute walk in on rough track.
• Please wear: Outdoor working clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty/muddy. Waterproofs and heavy boots or wellies.
• Please bring:Gloves, packed lunch, drinks.Trowel or spade if you have them.
• Refreshment facilities: The famous array of Friends of the Lake District work party cakes will be available
• Toilet & hand washing facilities: There are no man-made toilet or handwashing facilities on site but plentiful artfully placed trees should you experience the call of nature. We will supply antibacterial hand gel.
