The only membership organisation dedicated to protecting and enhancing Lake District and Cumbrian landscapes
The Lake District has been described by many (and we agree!) as England’s most spectacular landscape. Millions of us every year experience the awe-inspiring beauty of Cumbria’s iconic fells, lakes, tarns and woodlands. The Lake District is home to England’s highest mountain, deepest lake, favourite view, as well as many unique and endangered species. There really is nowhere else on earth quite like it.
Every gift we receive helps us to protect and enhance one of the most beautiful landscapes on earth. Legacy gifts help us to carry out vital conservation work on our fells, comment on planning applications that will have a significant impact on the landscapes of the Lake District and campaign on issues of importance to Cumbria. People who leave us a legacy believe in preserving this special place for generations to come.

Because of legacy income in the last year we have been able to:
All this in one year! Think what we could do in the next 10 years with a gift in your Will, however large or small.
