It's been another 'eventful' month. We held a Leader's Landscape Training day, crossed Morecambe Bay, attended a footpath opening between Skelton and Unthank, repaired walling at Mazonwath with our talented volunteers, and supported a trip to Tindale and a Small Blue Butterfly count via our Discover Cumbria grants scheme.

Morecambe Bay Walk  13th June - The walk, from Arnside to Kent’s Bank, near Grange-over-Sands, saw 250 of our supporters walking and raising valuable sponsorship funds along with hundreds of others enjoying the walking and the wading across glorious Morecambe Bay.

Leaders Landscape Training Day 19th June - Our Leader’s Landscape Training Sessions are aimed at outdoor practitioners to help deepen their understanding of the variety and importance of Cumbria’s upland ecology and to encourage a clearer understanding of some of the issues and pressures of outdoor users on our landscape, wildlife and habitats. The sessions are also offered as accredited Continuous Professional Development training through the Mountain Training Association.
