Last chance to enter your Lake District and Cumbria photos for our competition
There’s only a few weeks left to enter environmental charity Friends of the Lake District’s 2026 photo competition.
Rachel Dorrington, Fundraising Officer, said: “We’d love to see the landscapes in all different seasons so please dig back through your archives for those sensational snowy scenes and brilliant bright blue skies too.
“Whether you’ve snapped a picture of some majestic fells, a peaceful tarn, an inquisitive robin or something a little bit different, we want to see your favourite photos and memories of the Lake District and Cumbria.”
Submissions should ideally be landscape orientation, and you should be able to provide a high-resolution image for replication in print at A4 size upon request.
Winning entries will be used to create the charity’s Christmas cards and 2027 calendar. All money raised from the sale of these goes towards supporting the Lake District and Cumbria’s beautiful yet fragile landscapes and heritage.

To enter simply visit our website: https://www.friendsofthelakedistrict.org.uk/photo-competition-2026/
Closing date is midnight on 30th June 2026.
