Youth Voice
Young voices need to be heard
We have an exciting opportunity for individuals between the ages of 18 and 25.
We need your help
We know young people care passionately about landscape and environmental issues but often don’t have a platform to have their voices heard. Through Friends of the Lake District’s Youth Voice group we hope to change that, providing space for young people to be heard and input into the work that we do.
You’ll work with the Youth Voice team to build campaigns, projects, engagement activities, or events on the issues you care about. You’ll also have a say in shaping our charity’s new strategy.
Are you:
- Aged 18-25
- Passionate about protecting and enhancing the Cumbrian landscape
- Living in Cumbria or surrounding counties
- Willing to bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions
- Happy to voice your concerns
In return for your time, you’ll have the opportunity to gain project development and leadership skills, as well as gain insight, and experience working in the environmental sector. We’ll also provide you with references to add to your C.V.
