Welcome to our new Friends of the Lake District website
Welcome to our new website!
We hope that, over time, this site will make it easier to see what we’re up to and follow the progress of our campaigns and other work. Alongside this, you’ll notice our logo has also changed – all part of a “brand refresh”.
The website as you see it now is just the start. Much of our previous content is temporarily unavailable as we continue to work on and update things. You’ll also notice that our shop is temporarily unavailable – although you’re still be able to buy things like our landscape gifts over the telephone. Over the coming weeks and months, this website will grow and develop, and we hope you like what you see.
Why these changes?
We’re aware that we need to work harder to attract new people to our organisation so we can continue to grow our supporter and membership base. The more people we attract, the louder our voice is when we talk about important matters. We hope you like the new brand as it’s unveiled in the coming months and that you find our new website a source of useful updates and information.
We’ll keep you up to date with changes in our monthly Postcard from the Lakes – sign up below if you don’t already received it.
