Lake District Rainforest Appeal
We’re restoring a temperate rainforest right here in Cumbria! Temperate rainforests thrive on high rainfall, humidity and mild temperatures but these very specific conditions are surprisingly rare. Mosses, ferns and lichens cloak trees and rocks, creating landscapes found in only a few places on Earth.
Hedges and Edges Appeal
Join the fight to bring nature back to the Lake District. A recent report by Campaign for National Parks showed that just 6% of the land area in National Parks is managed effectively for nature – but we can help change that!
