Dark skies lighting guided walk & stargaze

Join us for a short 1 – 2km guided walk to see the Kendal Fellside dark sky friendly lighting project, culminating in a chance to stargaze with the Eddington Astronomical Society.

Dark skies lighting guided walk & stargaze

Thursday 19 November 6.30pm – 8.30pm

Join us for a short 1 – 2km guided walk to see the Kendal Fellside dark sky friendly lighting project, culminating in a chance to stargaze with the Eddington Astronomical Society.

Learn why effective lighting is so important for people, nature, the landscape and to see the night sky.

Terrain: Flat paved footpaths through town and steeper paved footpath sections up to Fellside. Flat grass surface for the stargazing.

This event is part of Cumbria’s Dark Skies Festival and the Kendal Mountain Festival.

Booking will open at the start of November.
