Plug planting in our wildflower meadow

Wildflower plug planting

Join our workparty for plug planting in our wildflower hay meadow at Mazonwath.

Location: Mazonwath, Little Asby (GR688084 / https://what3words.com/seaweed.adhesive.hello) Limited parking
Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm
Activity suitability: 16+
Activity grade: Moderate.
Please wear: Outdoor working clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty/muddy. Waterproofs and boots/wellies.
Please bring: Gloves. If you have them, a trowel or spade. Snacks and drinks.
Refreshment facilities: The famous array of Friends of the Lake District cakes will be available.
Toilet & hand washing facilities: There are no man-made toilet or handwashing facilities on site but plentiful artfully placed trees should you experience the call of nature. We will supply antibacterial hand gel.

Please note that we/other volunteers may take pictures during the day to use in our publicity and for recording progress on site. If you do not wish to be included in any pictures, please let us know on the day.
