Volunteer
Volunteer with us
Learn new skills and join our army of volunteers helping us to make a practical difference all year round.
Why volunteer?
Volunteering makes a real difference to Friends of the Lake District and much of our work is only possible because of the help we receive from our volunteers.
Volunteers bring a whole range of different skills and interests to our work and you do not have to be a landscape expert to help. Just bring your enthusiasm and we will supply the cake!
Volunteering with us is very flexible depending on how much time you are able to commit. We appreciate all contributions, however great or small. You’ll meet like-minded people, make new friends, learn new skills and make a real difference to a landscape so many people love.
How to sign up
In the coming days we’ll have a registration form here for you to sign up. Come back soon!
If you’d like to know more or want to have a chat about any of these roles, contact our volunteer and events coordinator, Stacey Plant, on 01539 720788 or email volunteering@fld.org.uk.
