The Frog Whitton Round is a classic cycling and swimming challenge set in the Lake District. Only 1 athlete has managed to complete the round since its creation in 2019. It consists of 154km of cycling, over 3000 metres of ascent and 10km of swimming. This film follows Ben Dowman as he attempts the Frog Whitton Round on a typical Lakeland summers day.

Elterwater Quarry Adventure Attraction plans resubmitted

Just before Christmas, revised proposals were submitted for a visitor attraction at Elterwater Quarry. We have reviewed the plans, we remain opposed to the scheme, and you can read our formal response here.

A NEW planning application has been submitted for the major resort development proposed at Roanhead.
