Welcome to our latest Postcard From the Lakes. First we have to say a big thank you to all the amazing volunteers who took part in the Great Cumbrian Litter Pick two weeks ago, so thank you to you too if you took part.

Our work to resist unsuitable developments in the Lake District continues, and you can help by donating to our Planning for the Future appeal. 

There are many events over the next month, including our AGM and Open Day in Ulverston, various Landscape Leaders events, lots of volunteering work parties and an online Member meet, so if you are a far flung member we hope you can join us, and supporters are welcome too - we hope to see you at an event soon!

And our Photo Competition has had so many entries since we announced it that the website reached it's upload limit! - this should be fixed now so you can upload your best Lakeland photos now - winning entries will feature in our calendar and Christmas cards later in the year.
