It's back! We're delighted to launch this year's photography competition.

Please send us your best photographs of the Lake District and Cumbria.

It can be from any time of year and of whatever you want, but please make sure they are landscape orientation.

This year to celebrate the start of our Dark Skies Project we want one of the calendar images to have been taken at night, so if you're a budding astrophotographer please send us your pics.

In 2018 we received over 600 wonderful entries and thoroughly enjoyed looking at each and every one. We're excited to see what you've got up your sleeves this year.

What do I win?

Winning images will be featured in our Calendar and Christmas cards with full photography credits. You'll also be the first to receive copies of these in the post.

The winning images will be announced mid-July via our website and Facebook pages and we will contact the photographers directly via email at this time.
