Corporate partnerships for a living landscape

Now more than ever the Lake District needs a partner like you.

A partnership that reflects your values

The Lake District’s landscapes are under increasing pressure, and the need for committed partners has never been greater. By supporting us, organisations can make a direct, measurable contribution to restoring habitats, protecting biodiversity, and safeguarding the places people love – now and for ever.

Every organisation has its own priorities, culture, and CSR goals. We work closely with our partners to design a relationship that feels meaningful to them—whether that’s hands-on conservation work by taking part in one of our Corporate “Give Back Days”, supporting long-term restoration projects, or helping us campaign for the future of our spectacular landscape.

Partnerships can include:

  • Tree planting to expand woodland cover and strengthen climate resilience.
  • Dry Stone Walling create strong, long lasting boundaries in the landscape that can stand for generations.
  • Hedge planting/laying to help restore traditional boundaries and create abundant wildlife corridors.
  • Campaign support to help protect threatened habitats or communities, and influence positive, impactful and everlasting change.
  • Sponsoring a site: a long term, supportive role in caring for a specific piece of land such as a woodland, meadow, or heritage landscape.
  • Dedicated volunteer days focused on a range of practical hands-on conservation activities based on one of our sites, or taking part in one of our community engagement initiatives such as our annual Great Cumbrian Litter Pick.

These activities give teams the chance to see their impact first-hand, build connection with the landscape and local communities, and contribute to work that lasts for generations.

Why your support matters

The Lake District’s natural systems are fragile. Restoring woodlands, reviving hedgerows, and improving habitats are essential to reversing biodiversity loss and creating spaces for species to return and thrive. Corporate partners play a vital role in accelerating this work – bringing energy, passion, resources, and long-term commitment.
