A Blog by Molly Conway

Promote the wonderful woodland, commons, and fells owned and manged by Friends of the Lake District and free to access by all. So...that's Molly's task for the year ahead! You can view all of the land owned by Friends of the Lake District at this link...

We're delighted that Molly has chosen to work with us this year as our ‘Property Engagement Officer’. Molly is a third year Wildlife Conservation and Environmental Management student at Harper Adams University, in Shropshire. As part of her university education she is undertaking a year of working in her chosen field on placement...with us!

We've asked Molly to write a monthly blog detailing her work with us so that we could share her progress, spread the word about the land that we own and encourage people to go and explore!

In a world of fast pace and change and more external pressures than ever before, it is easy to forget that landscape is all around us and supports us. This is why we created our Why Landscape Matters campaign. We are asking people to join with us and remember why our landscapes matter to us, celebrate and enjoy them, and support our work to keep them special.
