The Plan responds to the findings of the ‘Glover’ Landscapes Review key finding on the lack of diversity in those visiting the Park. The Plan welcomes visitors from a wide range of groups, including those who have difficulty in accessing the countryside.  We welcome these principles, but as always the key point is that proposals must not undermine the special qualities of the landscape that people seek out.  This section of the Plan includes proposals to improve visitor understanding and how to care for the landscape and its communities. Given the increasing numbers of visitors, including those that have not previously spent much time in the countryside and may be less aware of the Countryside Code, we believe that this element is now critical.
