We ran a photography competition for the duration of our 'Great Landscapes Week' event in September. We've left them here for you to see just what we - and participants throughout the week - get out of our wonderful landscapes.
And congratulations to Anna Thomas. Anna submitted this beautiful image 'Middle Row Farmhouse beneath the slopes of Yewbarrow'. Staff at Friends of the Lake District have selected it as their favourite image of the week. We're delighted with all of the entries! Anna wins a copy of 'The Long View' by Harriet Fraser and Rob Fraser.
Scroll down to see all the other entries and see what Great Landscapes Week was all about!

'I’m so glad you like the image and I feel very flattered, especially as there were so many beautiful pictures posted on the competition web page. I have only recently re-discovered the Lake District, having not been there for many years, and have found it the most wonderful place to fulfil my passion for landscape photography.'
