These traditional hay meadows boast a breath taking display of wildflowers at this time of the year and was Cumbria’s first Coronation Meadow. 60 Coronation Meadows were created in 2013 to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Queens’ coronation in 1953. The Cumbrian one is at Piper Hole, Ravenstonedale.
