Office Administrator The Office Administrator is an essential role to Friends of the Lake District. This is a job share role, you will be joining our existing part time Office Administrator in ensuring that all office facilities operate smoothly. The Office Administrator is an essential role to Friends of the Lake District. This is a job share role, you will be joining our existing part time Office Administrator in ensuring that all office facilities operate smoothly. The Office Administrator is responsible for the maintenance of office systems and keeping them up to date and accurate. The role varies between being a welcoming receptionist to all visitors and staff and working behind the scenes to support our Finance and Office Manager with the organisation of IT and office maintenance. You will also work with our fundraising and membership teams to keep our contact data base up to date and support our policy and project teams with the administration of events and bookings. There may also be the opportunity, from time to time, to help staff and volunteers with Friends of the Lake District events and other activities taking place around Cumbria. We are ideally looking for someone with a relevant administration and/or business qualification or qualified by experience. Experience of a wide range of administration duties is essential including data base administration and use of Excel and Word. You will also need experience of a variety of other duties and be well organised with the ability to work on your own initiative, have well developed written and verbal communication skills and be flexible.
