Cumbrian landscape charity Friends of the Lake District is searching for the finest views the Lake District and Cumbria has to offer for their 2018 photo competition.

Following on from their successful 2017 competition, which received 347 entries, the Kendal based charity are hoping to beat that total this year, with 100 photos received so far.

Open to all ages and abilities, the winning images will feature on the charity’s Christmas cards and 2019 calendar.

“Last year, thanks to the fantastic images we received, we saw the largest ever sales of our cards and calendars, meaning we can do even more to help protect and enhance these special landscapes.” Said Rachel Damms, Fundraising Officer.
