About the role
This role has emerged from reshaping our central resources function to place greater emphasis on the importance of building a strong, stable and resilient organisation.

Overall purpose
Provide direction and management of finance, administration and volunteering. Working with the Head of Finance and Operations manage the current and further develop the central resource functions which support the organisation.

Skills / experience required. To be considered for this role you must:

  • Have an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Possess strong technical accounting and payroll knowledge
  • Have extensive Sage experience
  • Have experience of working with multiple income streams and the necessary departmental reporting for this income
  • Have excellent communication skills and an ability to build relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation
  • Be self-motivated and proactive in your approach
  • Have experience of preparing year end accounts and liaising closely with external auditors
