In this edition:

Welcome to our latest update. As we rush headlong into September, I'm delighted to say that we will be manning a stand at the Westmorland County Show next week after its cancellation in 2020. It's a great opportunity to meet the public and other organisations to discuss our work and share ideas.

We'll also be busy recruiting for new staff members to join our team. We're looking for a 'Landscape Engagement Officer' to help us develop and run a number of landscape engagement events. We're also advertising for a 'Membership Officer' to help us manage our membership activities.

I'm also pleased to see 'undergrounding' work taking place at Mungrisdale and a new series of Westmorland Dales Walks scheduled for anybody who wants to explore the areas rich cultural heritage and natural beauty in the autumn months.
