We're delighted to announce that our alternative Fell Care Day activities are fully booked and the appetite for our Dark Skies Cumbria online talk on the 5th November very positive.

We also share our thoughts on our disappointment that a wonderful opportunity to deliver our vision for a working Lake District uplands, in partnership with the community and another charity, appears to have been taken from us by an unknown bidder.

Also in this edition; ‘Life of a Mountain Helvellyn’ premieres next weekend, the Westmorland Dales project announces a new grants program to restore traditional farm buildings and our ‘Leaders Landscape Training events continue to impart knowledge and training to outdoor practitioners about our spectacular landscapes.
