In this edition:

Welcome to our latest update. We reach the end of a stormy week in Cumbria and it certainly feels as if autumn is truly upon us.

We celebrate ten years of 'Fell Care Days'. Our mass volunteering days which have mobilised an army of eager volunteers repairing walls, planting trees, picking litter, repairing paths and so much more across the Lake District. I'm delighted to announce that we resume them again with our next event in November at Haweswater.

There are more walks and talks scheduled in the Westmorland Dales for autumn and we remain busy assessing some major transport consultations affecting Cumbria as well as a steady stream of planning applications.

I'm also delighted to let you know that our beautiful new collection of cards, gifts and our 2022 calendar are all available to purchase via our online shop.
