Welcome to our latest update. We had a great 2 days at the Westmorland County Show last week so thanks to everyone that stopped by to chat to us.

Last week the Public Inquiry into the Coal Mine began, and you can read more about it below. CPRE, whom we represent in Cumbria launched their Hedgerow Campaign, to get the government to commit to increasing the UK's hedgerow's by 40% by 2050, and you can write to your MP about it at the link below.

The Westmorland Dales project has been busy starting their archeological dig at Little Asby Common, and they also have several online webinars and walks planned for the autumn.

And our free 'Reflections' photography and art exhibition launched at Brockhole this week, as you'll see from my video, so do drop in if you're in the area over the next month.
