Friends of the Lake District and Rheged are proud to present  ‘The Making of BBC Planet Earth II ’ at Rheged on Saturday 25 February at 2 pm.

Join BBC Natural History Assistant Producer Emma Brennand for an exclusive glimpse behind the scenes at the ‘Mountains’ and ‘Islands’ episodes of David Attenborough’s Planet Earth II. Four years in the making with 25 expedition shoots to the world’s greatest wildernesses, she has plenty of stories to share; from how to track Nubian Ibex in the mountains of Israel, to revealing the secret life of the Buller’s Albatross on a tiny Sub-Antarctic island in the middle of the Southern Ocean. Emma will take questions from the audience at the end of her talk.
