This walk is part of a series of weekly health and heritage walks around the Westmorland Dales. Please keep an eye on the website as there will be more to follow. The walk is aimed at local people only to avoid unnecessary travel. They may be cancelled at short notice as government guidance on COVID-19 changes, fingers crossed for the time being! Date: Wednesday 4th November Times: 10 am- 12pm Walk length: 6km Terrain: Easy, some stiles/gates A short walk on the outskirts of Orton which will take in fabulous views, history and wildlife and be approximately 6 km. This walk is aimed at health and wellbeing and getting out into the fresh air with a sprinkling of heritage. BOOKING a place on this walkBecause of current restrictions, these walks can only cater for a very limited number of people so we would ask that you please get in touch with us to register your interest and please only attend on the day if we have confirmed with you that you have a place reserved on the walk. We will be arranging further weekly walks and operating a waiting list as we currently have high demand for attendance.
