Friends of the Lake District Keswick Mountain Festival Fell Care – Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th May 2020

We’re offering have-a-go conservation taster sessions at Keswick Mountain Festival this year. So if you’ve ever fancied mastering the skill of dry stone walling, learning who looks after our miles and miles of upland paths – and how, or you just want to do your bit to look after the spectacular landscapes around Derwentwater, get yourself signed up.

Our hub for the day is Friends of the Lake District Marquee on Crow Park Festival Village, Keswick. Volunteers/participants sign in at hub 15 minutes before their task start time and set off in groups on tasks/activities led by skilled leaders.

BOOKING ESSENTIAL. Numbers are limited on each task so places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
