There is an element to the Cumbrian countryside that is often left overlooked… rainforests, Cumbria’s rainforests. Learn about the woodlands of the Lake District, while actively contributing to the understanding of these special habitats. Come and take part in a Rapid Woodland Assessment to assess the potential of woods to support oceanic lichens and bryophytes of conservation importance. No prior knowledge required; just a love for the natural world and willingness to learn!
