Thanks to National Lottery players it has been supported by a grant from the Heritage Fund.

Bowber Head Hay Meadows Exhibition 2nd - 10th July

Bowber Head Hay Meadows Exhibition - exhibition of wildflower photographic images. Wildflower identification film, hay making film and memorabilia from the last 100 years.

The site will be open every day throughout the week from 10:00am – 4:00pm. See our other event pages for bookable guided walks, bee ID walks and family activities happening throughout the week at Bowber Head.

Despite some ongoing challenges with Covid and the weather, there really is an enormous amount happening at the moment as we catch up on things that have been delayed.

Family Wild Play Day - Morland

A day for all the family. Drop in for an hour or stay all day with Stomping Ground. Building dens, crafts, campfire cooking and natural artworks. Playing games, picnics in the meadow, and testing your balance on slacklines or chilling in the hammocks. It all goes on!
Fire and Forage!

A rare opportunity for adults to take part in a bushcraft workshop with Lily Horseman and the Stomping Ground Team in Orton. Forage the hedgerows and woodland to make use of the wild seasonal ingredients and different cooking techniques over the open fire.
